Who we are

PinkyKept is operated by El Mehdi Gamal, an individual based in Morocco (“PinkyKept”, “we”, “us”). Contact: support@pinkykept.com.

Who can use PinkyKept

You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who also accepts these terms for you.

What PinkyKept is (and isn’t)

PinkyKept helps you keep promises you make to yourself by planning small tasks, locking apps you choose while you work, and showing a reason you chose. It is a focus and habit tool. It is not a medical, psychological or addiction treatment, and it doesn’t replace professional help.

App locking depends on Android, your phone’s manufacturer and the permissions you give. It can be turned off by you at any time and may not work on every device or in every situation. Calls, emergency services and the apps you mark as always-open stay available, and Emergency always unlocks immediately.

PinkyKept Plus, trials and payments

• Planning is free. App locking, the morning promise, unlimited reasons and other Plus features need a subscription.
• Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play, under Google Play’s terms. Prices, taxes and currency are shown in the app before you buy.
• A free trial, when offered, starts when you confirm it. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription. We remind you before the trial ends when notifications are allowed.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Plus until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. Where the law of your country gives you a right of withdrawal or refund, it still applies.
• Founding-member offer: people who confirmed their place on the waitlist before launch can get 50% off their first year of the yearly plan with their personal code, once per person and per Google Play account, within 30 days of launch.
• We may change prices for future periods. We’ll tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Your content

Your promises, notes and reasons belong to you and stay on your phone. Only add photos or videos you have the right to use. If a reason shows another person (for example a video from your mom), make sure they agree to it being used this way.

If you share a card or a message, you are responsible for what you share and with whom.

Fair use

Don’t misuse PinkyKept: don’t reverse-engineer, resell or modify it in ways that break its protections, don’t use it to monitor or control another person without their knowledge, and don’t abuse the waitlist, codes or referral system. We may refuse or revoke codes, offers or access that are obtained by fraud.

Our rights

The PinkyKept name, logo, app, designs and texts belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for yourself, under these terms and Google Play’s terms.

Disclaimers

We work hard to make PinkyKept reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We can’t promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will make you more productive. You are responsible for your own decisions, work and safety.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost work, opportunities or data) arising from your use of PinkyKept, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for PinkyKept in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using PinkyKept and delete it at any time (also cancel your subscription in Google Play). We may suspend or end access if you seriously break these terms, and we may stop offering a feature after giving reasonable notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Continuing to use PinkyKept after that means you accept the new terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can use your local courts. Please contact us first: most problems are solved by email.
